A LOVE LIKE THIS

I want a baby love
that stomps its feet,
stripped
of morning screams,
pretending the moon
yelling in glee
and laughing out loud,
while wrapping itself
more snugly
in a mantle of cuddles.

I want a perverted love
free
to burst through the walls
of whatever skin
and invade embraces
without maybes...or nos

I want a lascivious love
a ballad in B flat
quivering eight notes on walls
staunchly defending impulses
from who's not there
will not understand

I want an imperfect love
stripped of morning screams
with all melted from it at sunset
and arms so tight
I cannot breathe

I want a potent love
embittered, violent
stealing foam from the ocean
to caress the shore

I want love that
blows everything
explodes mo into bullets
without
limits
or rules

I want
a love like this.

Or not at all.
