Tell me the dangers of love

Tell me the dangers of love and save my virgin heart
For I perceive mountains before the raining tiffs
Which hinder bouts of passionate depths
In envious loathing of a pristine gift

Should as a lamb I follow my mother's trail
Let me quickly avoid the predators' den
Or a trap set for me to grow frail
And make waste of me in a careless gain

Never will I engage on a tender quest
If my heart is not drugged in this adventure
To scout the height of bliss and learn the best
Now feeding my soul with greener future
