Just a Hug

Dearest Beloved,

If you were here physically
I would put my arms around you
Hug you close and never let you go.

However -

You are a spirit that is in everything
In the creation - and you are the creation.

So

How can I hug one as vast as that?

However -

You have given me to understand
All of the vast creation is within me

For -

I am the microcosm of the macrocosm.

So then -

I shall just hug myself,
For in so doing
I will be hugging and loving you.
