In My Heart and In My Arms
In my heart always
My baby shall be
Even though mostly
I cannot see
Or feel her beside me
Or here in my arms
But I know that she's never
In any harm
But heartache and longing
To hold me by close
As I whisper softly
And be the home host
And keep her safe always
As she know's I'll do
Whatever I must
To force darkness through
And send it to past
To whence it once came
With tail between legs
As it weeps in shame
For it knows light triumphs
Time after time
And the love of each other
Beats all evil crime
Protect her forever
With no fear in me
I'll fight against any
One who should be
Brave enough to disgrace
Her with foul mouth
I'll make sure that that one
Shall go to the South
I'll love her for always
And not care who sees
And now I will hold her
So merrily
Be with her always
And hold in my arms
My life and my baby
Whom I mean no harm
My baby shall be
Even though mostly
I cannot see
Or feel her beside me
Or here in my arms
But I know that she's never
In any harm
But heartache and longing
To hold me by close
As I whisper softly
And be the home host
And keep her safe always
As she know's I'll do
Whatever I must
To force darkness through
And send it to past
To whence it once came
With tail between legs
As it weeps in shame
For it knows light triumphs
Time after time
And the love of each other
Beats all evil crime
Protect her forever
With no fear in me
I'll fight against any
One who should be
Brave enough to disgrace
Her with foul mouth
I'll make sure that that one
Shall go to the South
I'll love her for always
And not care who sees
And now I will hold her
So merrily
Be with her always
And hold in my arms
My life and my baby
Whom I mean no harm
