scars

scars?
pictures and stories preserved,
eternally in sorrow.
apathy and hoplessness
a description of my existance.
we are un-noticed, unseen
grains of sand, on a forgotten beach.

paper, skin and eyes
all can be read.
the soul through your eyes.
your hardships through your scars.
and paper is where the true poetry
of HELL will eternally be tattooed

a blank canvas at birth.
and at the end when we rot away, and the scars fade
our souls will run renegade, and we will be free.
souls are trapped in the body.
limited to only wat the body can take.
but a soul is where the true beautiful ugliness lies.
there and in your eyes.
