Gogo Blackwater

What turns their heads
is not the scent of her
but the seeming lack
of sense of her,
and yet she sees them
for what they are,
some sentimentals
who have fallen in love
with their own reflection.

To escape her fate
of being seen
for merely being divine,
she spreads her shadow
in invincibility
and how
the stains have left
the patterns
of mythology
and how the universes
here collided
on the skin
of an angel.
