I don't like Animal Planet's slogan
I hear it again and again and again
It gives humans too much credit
Most just won't admit it

Animals don't worry
Animals don't care
Souls?
Debatable

Either way
They can carry out a day
They can kill for their food
And watch their own

They can be dependent
And we can learn from their parenting
Just think about it
Life forms with, usually, justified conflict

No wars
Just the survival of the fittest
With humans, it's survival of the sexiest
There's more than a civil plus to animals

They do it
And they have young
And they do it some more
And they just go on like that

They're cunning in skill
And I believe they're all that's left that is real
I'm not an activist by any means
I'm just saying

Animals
If they could feel offence
They'd be offended
By Animal Planets slogan
