Shame and Pride

Sheltered inhibitions
Overwhelming odds
Distant hurdles over corn field plains
So savage
So vain
Like a plague
Destroyed existence of their ways
But never their names.
World powers claim your name for fame.
It's all in vain!
Have you no shame.
