darkness
Eyes slowly close
as a heart beats faster
A nightmare...
that seems to always last
No longer a thought
but a fear
I hide in the darkness
to excape these tears.
Alone i feel
as the light fades
nothing left of me
not even a trace
the darkness is quiet
until you hear a sound
a blood curdeling scream
then a hand reaches out
The darkness consumes
all it can
even the soul
of a young man

thank u and i wrote this poem out of a memory of a friend that killed himself at a young age so i thought id put his memory out into the world out of what i felt was his feelings before he killed himself
