Fading
Slamming the door to my room behind me
sealing myself off from the world,
I throw open my chest.
Reaching for my little box I feel at ease already
Lifting off its lid
I push the razors to the side.
I don’t need them this time.
I have no hesitation reaching for my bottle
Consuming my collection,
I toss the bottle to the floor.
Feeling light headed
I lay down on my bed.
The room is spinning now.
Laying here numb,
motionless,
it feels good.
All the worries,
and pain
are leaving my body as my vision blurs.
I am fading.
sealing myself off from the world,
I throw open my chest.
Reaching for my little box I feel at ease already
Lifting off its lid
I push the razors to the side.
I don’t need them this time.
I have no hesitation reaching for my bottle
Consuming my collection,
I toss the bottle to the floor.
Feeling light headed
I lay down on my bed.
The room is spinning now.
Laying here numb,
motionless,
it feels good.
All the worries,
and pain
are leaving my body as my vision blurs.
I am fading.
