Losing You To The One Down The Street...
The rain patters on the window
Pane. Lonely in bed, silk and satin
Sheets drenched in sorrow
Tears on your pillow--things have never
Changed. It's just business again
Called Losing You To The One Down
The Street, she enraptures you with
Her blue eyes, her youth deflowers all
Your good sense, her lipstick is a
Trap, you've replaced her long flaxen
Hair with my stabbed heart.
You've deserted your family, this business
Which I've invested my soul into. There's
An insurance placed on my life, a warrant
For our children, a plunge for our future.
You never cared though, butterfly; you're
Free to die. So, take with you this bullet
For old times sake, and one for the other
Bitch, a keepsake, bearing all my soul
Into your desire. But remember this on your
Last breath: You killed me first.
