Forgotten Garden

A garden grows undisturbed,
Out of sight, no one notices it,
Years pass by the garden remains,
It's flowers are withering away,
The petals crumble at the slightest touch,
Deprived of oxygen and water,
It wont last much longer,

A lovely girl stumbles across the garden one day,
She sees the weeping willows and the dried flowers,
It may have been old and dying,
But she could see hope for this garden,
She could bring life back to this forgotten garden,
It didn't need no water or sunlight,
Oh no just love,

She spent each day taking care of the garden,
Until her hands were covered in cuts and bled,
She poured her heart into the garden,
And the garden gave some back to the girl,
It's flowers bloomed and the lime tree provided shade for her,

The garden was full of life,
and finally showing it's true colors,
There was finally someone there for it,
The girl loved the garden with all her heart,
And she lived there caring for it,
Because of her this garden never withered again.
