What could be

I want to jump on stage and sing my song
Deliver the message while they sing along
It is older than the hills
Yet it often gives me chills

My favorite band out of all
Many of my friends do recall
I sing their music quite well
As I listen to them everyday can't you tell?

Karaoke, often done live
I wanted to take the dive
As the crowd was restless and lacked noise
A great opportunity to perform with poise

As the big bats bar
Where no one knows who me and my friend are
The prize would be a free beer
Yet I could not get over my inner fear

Did they have the song of my choice?
Or did they only have songs for younger girls and boys
But it's Queen the best of the best
The greatest rock band with no contest

Next time I will ask for sure
To find what I am looking for
I often just sing alone
Usually my common comfort zone
