I like it when the singers breathe too often and too noticeably because it reminds me that they are alive.

The TVs on either side of the room  
were on the same channel
and the same woman was talking on both  
only the sound on one television was a few seconds behind
the first. For  
as long as I was eating breakfast  
there were two of her  
and I wonder  
if there was enough of a pause between  
        what the first woman said  
                and  
what the second woman said  
 
for her to hear herself think
