THE GULLIBLE GIRL

The gullible girl is the girl who refuses to see what is standing right in front of her face.
The gullible girl is the girl who refuses to listen; the gullible girl is the girl who continues wishing that things are still going to change someday.
The gullible girl is the girl who still convinces herself that he really does love her, but she refuses to accept her oblivion to the idea that she will never be free unless she sneaks out in the darkest of night because he clutches the key, he clutches the key to her soul.
The gullible girl will not process the word control.
She devours his embrace because she is starving for a love she could never have,
Only the bitter-sweet slap of dear old dad.
She is immune to pain from the inside out, she’s taken throughout her life up until this very day, the only thing that’s different this time around is that he loves her, he loves her and she will never lose him because attached to the end of his leash is where she willingly chooses to stay.
The gullible girl is the girl who refuses to acknowledge the way that everyone is only looking her down, she declines the very thought that she has lost so much to the point now that there isn’t much out there left to gain, but if the coin could be flipped then maybe life would be worth living all over again.
She refuses to comprehend his brilliant mind, all suspicions slip away when she slips into his eyes, the mediator that divides both good and evil, or them really meeting eye to eye.
The smell of her blood;
The innocent look in her eyes when he is looking down at her,
The look that reveals both fear and truce….
A silence breaks through louder than thunder; and it moves two mortals from two different sides of the planet bringing them both to being aliens because they are studying each other like they had been since the day they met.
She swears it’s like they never met, he’s just always been there since before creation so he knows her, he just knows her so well.
