Never Will Find
Still as water
in a white water rush
Pure as a father
who drinks way to much
Tall as a mountain
that crumbled to the sea
Clear as a fountain
that runs red and brings me to my knees
As right as anything
and as wrong as all
Winning in your competing
every time you take a fall
Gained everything you wanted
lost your soul
Your body wanders haunted
but will never find that heart of gold
in a white water rush
Pure as a father
who drinks way to much
Tall as a mountain
that crumbled to the sea
Clear as a fountain
that runs red and brings me to my knees
As right as anything
and as wrong as all
Winning in your competing
every time you take a fall
Gained everything you wanted
lost your soul
Your body wanders haunted
but will never find that heart of gold
