Until our bodies disintegrate

Feels weird writing in a male's point of view.. But voila.
"What a beautiful place", she said. And she got lost in her thoughts, counting the clouds. While her thoughts were focused on the smell of grass, and her heart beating for the birds and sunshine, I thought of all the ways I could make her smile, and my heart pounded only for her. As she lay among the weeds, and gazed apon the wondrous sky, I laid by her side, studied her eyes, and felt her hair bing brushed between my fingertips. We were silent for days, just living in this glorious moment. She listened to the wind, and songbirds, as I listened to the sound of her breath. We had come to an unspoken conclusion that we would stay in this wonderland until our bodies disintegrated, and drifted with the wind into pastures that when on forever. We did as we promised each other. It was like a memory that never stopped, just going on forever. Nothing ever changed, but we never got bored. I felt the beauty of her, and she felt the beauty of the world. And we stayed here for eternity.
