Take My Life

Breaking down with no one there,
Living in this world knowing no one cares,
Why must I hurt for others to feel good?
And I’m left feeling misunderstood.

No one sees this darkness in my heart,
They can’t see the tears I cry cause I’m falling apart,
With these terrible things weighing me down,
I try to make them known but I never make a sound.

I’m scared of this society who judges me,
Only happy when they’ve made me fall to my knees,
Hatred fills my mind late tonight,
As I take this blade and end my life.
