Stephen King You Bastard

"Misery"
has kept me up all night-
that and coffee-
that and the face on the wall-

never again.

I began
Sweat & trembles
After this night
I am thinner

Of course I am
I have been imprisoned
in the crazy-lady's
burka goddess nightmare

I have felt my phantom foot itch
after she cut it off
if I close my eyes I can see the
toes
twitching

then there was the
candle in the cake
all because i would
ot stop bitchi g
about that fucki g  -

but i can manage without a thumb
keep typing
just give me the codeine

bitch I NEED that codeine

please

and my eyes are staring
hollowed irises
sunken in like bodies
in a peat bog
hatchets in their skulls

I can no more drag myself out
than if I had been truly crippled

gotta gotta finish
crawl on my elbows
grip the pen with my knuckles
all the way
to
the
rat poisoned
aftertaste

THE END
