Tamed Beauty; Unleashed the Beast
He thinks himself a beast and
hides behind the man he denies
to see.
He has claimed me as his beauty,
and adorns me with roses of the
purest white.
He longs to touch me but I yearn
to love him. Can he not see the
man I see.
He is no beast.
But does he love me for
my beauty or does he love me for me?
He was once charming snd sweet,
But something has changed---he has finally
set the beast free and promises to keep
me for his and not let the world know about me.
A Red rose I see; long steamed; thorns that
break through skin.
I am what he yearns to touch; I am his passion;
his lust; his forbidden fruit he can not touch.
This red rose is the death of me.
