Now perhaps machines have changed
since back in James Brown's day
He crooned about a "Sex Machine"
that could do it and do it right
Well unless machines have change drastically
despite technical advances
There is something missing with a robot
the same old stimulus and response

You can't inject soul or passion into a robot, right?
are we really at that point were any condition
Can be handled with satisfaction by creation of ours
replaced completely by nuts and bolts?

Sadly it isn't just intimacy where that question comes up
look at warfare that has been automated so
The use of drones eliminates the human part
now we can kill and not have to deal
with being eyewitnesses to the damage
to the damage

Or what about the missiles that will kill people inside
but leave the building standing
I am the next native occupants will love that
we convinced the enemy they were right
about our monster within

There are occupations that have been totally wiped out
maybe mine is next, computers that can teach
The human educator too subjective
while the computer doesn't need health benefits
can't sue for discrimination
or have so much education that administrators
feel threatened.

So modern world may have so much going on
for somethings I remain old fashion
The human touch is unequaled
that is where my nirvana can be found
