Wake up (if you ever been depressed please read)
Sarah used to live her life with cuts on her wrist
her parents never told her that they were proud of her
she stares at the mirror as the blood drips to the floor
as the pain she begs for more
she falls to the ground and cant get up
she can't get up that or she ain't trying
her boyfriend was the love of her life
maybe one day she would be his wife
but deep down she knows he don't treat her right
but it would take a million years for her to admit it
she just takes the abuse
she wakes up with a black eye
and a broken nose
what was she suppose to do?
nothing comes to her mind
so slowly her heart dies
through the abuse and lies
she can't even see the stars in the night sky
she just sits there with her cut up wrist
the scars that will never vanish
even if she hid them they will always be there
unlike her pride which has been stolen
she tries to wake up
but she was never dreaming
i can see her laying alone
on the side of a dead end road
her parents never told her that they were proud of her
she stares at the mirror as the blood drips to the floor
as the pain she begs for more
she falls to the ground and cant get up
she can't get up that or she ain't trying
her boyfriend was the love of her life
maybe one day she would be his wife
but deep down she knows he don't treat her right
but it would take a million years for her to admit it
she just takes the abuse
she wakes up with a black eye
and a broken nose

so slowly her heart dies
through the abuse and lies
she can't even see the stars in the night sky
she just sits there with her cut up wrist
the scars that will never vanish
even if she hid them they will always be there
unlike her pride which has been stolen
she tries to wake up
but she was never dreaming
i can see her laying alone
on the side of a dead end road
