longing for you

i sit at my window
wondering when youre coming back
days,months,years past by
and youre still not by my side

my emptiness grow more
the pain in my heart gets stronger
why did you disappear?
did i cause you to leave?
will you ever come back to me?

my soul gets weary from waiting
and it wants to give up
but i wont let go
i will wait for that day

the day where im in your arms
where i can cry in your chest
where you'll say to me
"everythings okay,im here"

but until that day comes
i will sit down
looking out the window
and wait...
