Earliest Dawn

Last night,
early morning:
before dawn.
2.
The old moon,
like a dying
crescent, hung
in the north,
with Antares
of Scorpius
almost caught
at the crescent.
3.
It was all
as if the
moon were
holding up
Scorpius in
a balancing
act.
4.
A forbidden
sign: Venus
nearby.

it's hard to follow the storyline if you don't have a background on astronomy. Other than that, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read.
