What you still do
The wounds that you left;
broken scars that will never heal.
Are they here for just torture;
or are they here to kill?
Sweet blissful alcoholic peace;
the only escape that you knew.
While I tried to move on;
putting back together what once was two.
It has been over half a year;
yet the forgotten feelings still linger.
My heart beats into murmurs to your name;
yet it also begins to break into splinters.
You break me down like a crumbling building;
You still cause me so much pain.
You still make me fall for you;
even if you will never talk to me again.
broken scars that will never heal.
Are they here for just torture;
or are they here to kill?
Sweet blissful alcoholic peace;
the only escape that you knew.
While I tried to move on;
putting back together what once was two.
It has been over half a year;
yet the forgotten feelings still linger.
My heart beats into murmurs to your name;
yet it also begins to break into splinters.
You break me down like a crumbling building;
You still cause me so much pain.
You still make me fall for you;
even if you will never talk to me again.
