Confusion
confused I happen to be
being confused is not a new thing to me
you say you want to make me your wife
but you have never once even been in my life
you don't even know my name
and I'm not sure whether your playing some twisted game
Lord please help me escape loves grasp
I'm waiting for the guy you've made for me
so Lord help me fight this until I'm free
I love you is just a couple of words everyone just throws around
yeah it's true I long to be someones miss
to have someone to hold, someone to kiss
but I've given everything to God and I told him that I would wait
for him to send me the man with whom I shall share my fate
so sweet words sent from a far don't have much effect on me
no more then a gentle summer breeze see?
yes my heart can be won
but winning my heart won't be easy or very fun

so forgive me if I no longer believe in sultry, sweet sounding lies
your words are like golden cords entangling my feet
yeah I know you have feelings for me, but stay out of the kitchen if you can't stand the heat

not only that even before I surrendered to Him I was a fighter
so if it's my heart your wanting, seeking and desiring
be prepared to fight for it because I have my guns ready for firing

but I doubt you would even survive the first dance
so come on if it's this heart you want
come and react to the Blue Beast Girls taunt
