Powdered dream
on silver foil
above a fluid flame
liquefies to violent life
smoky whiskers
spiral from a writhing head
garnered in a paper vein
then held in burning lungs
till beast set free, is dead

but nevertheless this poem reminds me a little of her work. It has the same mysterious, objective yet haunting and personal quality to it. The beauty of this piece, I feel, lies in it's intricate sentence construction. Each word has a reason for being where it is, and the lines flow softly into one another with perfect clarity.
