Writers Block.
Words like jump and hop leap off my page
whilst others like supine, languish in a state
of flat, along with sleep and smooth
scribble dribbles laterally from left… on through to right
not caring how it looks, or if it reads like shite
unlike eloquence, whose job it is to know
just what is meant when used with
fellow words, articulate and show

and this poem seems to have been forged with the utmost care and attention. Clearly, a lot of genuine feeling has gone into it. The way you juxtapose a mention of the words “jump and hop”, “supine”, and “sleep and smooth” with “leaps”, “languish” and “dribbles”, respectively, was clever also.
