impassable words

words are boundaries i dare not cross  
though they're only in my head
 
i'm living lost all that i've found
though empty spoken dead
 
and on and on all through the night
with all the words unspoken
 
here i lie in darkened pools
my empty heart so broken
 
i feel i've felt with all my nothing
reaching out to limitless bounds
 
my shattered world is haunting black
echoing all the sounds
