People stared impressed… Costa Rica?
Where the heck is that?
Central America sandwiched between
Nicaragua and Panama.

But her name oh that name!
I’m Euro Latina… Half German half tica
Certainly exotic they claimed
It gets boring after a while she’d say.

One little country embraced
By Atlantic and Pacific Ocean
No… It’s not an island.

The sun sets at six
Clock setting? We don’t do that
Six months of rain six months of dryness.

She comes from a land without militia
The beaches have great surf
Flora and fauna is abundant.

I’m native from Costa Rica
Mixed is my heritage
And to you I wish a great day!
