Oppresive Nimbus
Oppressive Nimbus
Wings once so pristine and white
Started to dim to gray
Soon the plumage will go black
And fading is her celestial light.
She was fed up,
Of the general misconceptions
If people only knew the truth
About their preachers
It would certainly alter everyone’s perception.
She tried to explain
She was hushed
The world thought she was insane.
She still walks among mortals
She is content though
She is far away from those prejudiced portals.
