pon insignificance blindly

ill prepared

enigma that hides
in plain sight
almost as if
consciously decided
to abandon Light
They could
Easily shed
on that Dark Side
Scientists showing
rare empathy
letting common folk
cling to Mystery
insuring
a most human
destiny
