A truly remarkable night,
A day’s worth of rain and
That trick with your panties.
Let me die naked
Like in the movies,
Camera, fluffer, action
Leave them begging… for the climax

Sexy words of sin
Blind date, my lady lay wanting
Catholic men, altar boys
The filthy whores
Ass pirates and baguettes

i'm not sure i get this... but it seems like a play on another member's back catalogue. could be wrong, but i don't get this if that's not what it is.
it feels personal, like it means something to the writer, but as a reader, i feel left out as it jumps around the end. intrigued, though, and am about to have a look at your others. [:

My style of writing is very jumpy. If you truly did read my other poems, which I hope you did ;), then you would see how many of my poems switch tracks pretty rapidly. I try to leave a void for imagination and feeling for the my readers.
As far as how personal this poem is to me, well actually very hard to talk about. I understand how it might not really mesh together, the end is a bit of a twist. One might think of a memorable, consensual, night; as the first line might indicate. However, as you move towards the end I hoped for the scenery to change to condtradict the notion of a nice night.
Though this is just how I viewed the poem as I had written it. As a reader I hope you can find it's meaning for you.
