Vous Dites Adieu
I am living these days in a quiet slumber,
In periodic stages of careful smiles,
and thoughts accompanied by great sorrow.
There is a twilight in my heart,
a rift between sorrow and sanctity..
If only I could have seen past my next breath,
through your eyes and into your heart,
I could have noticed the pieces of me..
Take me under your wing,
Or let me live in exile,
and my sanity grow distant.
Tear apart my darkness,
free me from my jailer,
Or let me hold you no longer.
I asked if I was the thing you needed...
And waited for your voice,
yearned for a whisper.
And then slowly my mind began to leave me,
transcending my soul to a grim solitude.
You Spoke to me with silent words,
then with tears I heard your answer,
vous dites adieu...
vous dites adieu...
In periodic stages of careful smiles,
and thoughts accompanied by great sorrow.
There is a twilight in my heart,
a rift between sorrow and sanctity..
If only I could have seen past my next breath,

Take me under your wing,
