BREATHE
In darkest night
you stain me pure
of innocence.
A revelry of songs sung,
of midnight kisses
and hope eternal.
Lips that speak not of
lust,
but of intention.
Harmonies entwined
replacing sorrow
on a moon's eve breath.
as simple as the
brush of my cheek
that guides your hand,
its silk
delicate and deliberate.
Needing
the embrace of its
mirrored soul.
In darkest night,
sadness removes its weight
of yesterday,
and moves on flighted
wing.
Breathing life into the present
you stain me pure
of innocence.
A revelry of songs sung,
of midnight kisses
and hope eternal.
Lips that speak not of
lust,
but of intention.
Harmonies entwined
replacing sorrow
on a moon's eve breath.
as simple as the
brush of my cheek
that guides your hand,
its silk
delicate and deliberate.
Needing
the embrace of its
mirrored soul.
In darkest night,
sadness removes its weight
of yesterday,
and moves on flighted
wing.
Breathing life into the present

Just beautiful, lyrical, musical
holding one's breath
to hear
the love
that is growing
in the silence
Thank you for sharing such loveliness

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to read someone with such heart and soul! The feeling in this piece comes through so strong it made my heart skip beats.
Lucky lady, to have such emotion laid out for her.
Fast becoming a fan, Soul Man!

I am honored. We of passion eventually wake and see we must let it out. Thank you for such sweetness. :)

It's marvellous, thank you for this. I really enjoy prose poetry. Particularly here I would dig more ballance in the rythm. Nice flowing stanzas sometimes felt grinded to a halt. Though the whole of the poem works incredibly. Kudos.
