Let Bygones Be
I had overcome the ruins that you made this a life. Putting out every fire that you would ignite. Fighting through every conflict that you would incite.
Focusing every day on a future so bright. Where the only time I see the darkness, is when day turns to night. And the pain you inflicted is far beyond on my sights.
For this life you once grounded has forever taken flight. Peering down on a man who can no longer stay up right. For you have become a shade that lives out of spite.
A once proud fool who can no longer put up a fight. Days from death and all you wish to do is display your might. And all I can do is hope you find the peace in death, that you could not grant me in life.
