MALADROIT

Why did you take the risk?
With my butterfingers why did you trust me?
Why did you let me hold your hand
If you already know I'm too clumsy?

Your pumping machine
was now down to the ground
I am the one to be blamed
Letting your heart slip away from my grasp
Now what repair can I make?
Will I be able to fix that again?

Now I'm drowned in my tears
Why did I let you go?
My soul is escaping from my body
My brain from my skull
Your heart needs renovation
But my heart needs more overhaul
My mind needs mending
I can't think of a way to bring you back

I have bought a needle
I have searched for the thread
When will I start to stitch
Give me a chance to fix it
I will patch-up its little pieces
After the mending, after the healing
I'll take hold of it again
Never will I let it find the exodus of my hands
