Capitalism`s Shame

this Body divergent
from Cosmetics
and laundry Detergent
cutting a narrow swathe
of expectations
born in caves
occupied by knaves
bathed in darkness
drawn to conclusions
reflecting just a speck of us
playing a game
to obtain the most
“In G*D We Trust”s
The fly paper biz
To snatch weary minds
Get `em stuck in the grind
Trading time off for credit
Trade more time
To spend it
A massive population
Prone to cathode prisons
Yeah, now they are digital
A bumper crop of Opium
At a time so pivotal
Every Palm Piloted
Every thought Pirated
To Big Brother-Fucker
So massive profit
May be targeted
Yeah keep runnin the rat race
Keep stumbling through the maze
Folks so conditioned
Need the slightest proposition
Hell, at this point with total Free Will
We actually spend money
(Therefore Time)
ON Treadmills!
Giant Gerbils spinning wheels
Play Our role in the game
Then on Our “Free” time
Climb on to the same
Just to prevent the inevitable gain
of weight that’s the by-product
of capitalism`s shame
