Depression Destroys you

These issues surround me.
This darkness glooms overhead.
I’m held down by these chains.
The devil has his hand on me.
God doesn’t seem to care.
I’m stuck in this hell once again.
What did I ever do to deserve this?
All the happiness inside me is gone.
Sorrow has filled me up.
Pain is all I feel.
Regret is shown in my dreams.
Guilt is worn on my face.
Whatever went wrong?
I’m lost in the confusion of my thoughts.
My heart is cold as ice.
It no longer has a beat.
My lungs are filled with death.
My soul is gone.
I am no longer here.
I’ve moved on to the other side.
