The Unattainable
The bliss won't outlast the lie you live. Illusions you created will soon start to give. And the gap between you and your paradise is one you'll never bridge.
For once the world crumbles beneath you. From the bottom you'll climb. And everything working for you.
Will betray you in time. Like sand through an hourglass, your chances are fine.
Wading though the muck, you are stuck in the mire. And the visions you remember are that of a liar.
Memories of an empire. One you'll never reacquire. Because your forever below the bottom. And your fate will never get higher.
