Sick desire for love
It’s hard to face the truth
when all you rather do
is deny and act like it
never happened
I’m staring at the mess
my heart left behind
when it broke into pieces
in one fast heartbeat
You should’ve warned me
so I could keep myself from
getting lost in the swimming pool
without a bottom, called love
I should’ve known better
The taste of
something so sweet
was all just based on
my sick desire for love

Why?
The overly cautious deny love, the uncautious deny love's protection....the balance of giving and falling and remaining resilient is difficult but necessary....
Who is the bigger loser ...those who fail or those who never try?

Thanks for your comment. You are completly right, I feel the same about it and when I look back I'm always happy things happen and that I learn from them, get stronger..
I wrote the poem when it all just happened, so I wrote down my thoughts and pure emotions. At that moment I felt angry that I didn't stop myself from getting hurt.
