Up The wall and Across The Ceiling
Up the wall and across the ceiling
No inspiration, my mind is blank and numb.
Hollow and empty within, I wonder what’s even left of me.
The tiny broken pieces that once were my heart,
Away you have taken them all, no fragment was left.
So selfish in your ways, words cannot even begin to depict.
Just the mere thought of you makes me oh so sick.
Emotions twist about within this empty shell.
Rapidly burning with more fury than hell.
Took away my breathes, and left me in pain.
Recklessly destroying all that comes your way.
Burned the bridges, and left me with scars.
Turned out the sun, and erased the night’s stars.
Love, Lust, and pain; one in the same.
One will suffer and fall and the other shall gain.
Left to bask in the darkness alone.
