The Day After The End Of The World(I Ended Up Leaving My Drink)
I ended up leaving my drink
I couldn't get it so I needed a hint
I was chatting up two women
On second guess I must've been snooze dreaming
My mate Blitz left for the farms
So I went to the Jameson pub
I bumped into Raheem and we started talking Hip Hop
Sipped so many beers my brain felt like a slipknot
Last night was the bomb
Last night I was Bond
On a mission
No martinis and Astons,this was different
We were drifting in Bo's car
Classic but we weren't listening to Mozart
I started seeing starships like cobra
I may not...
I couldn't get it so I needed a hint

Blade
Once a shiny blade
On the rusted edge
My life hangs
My back against the wall
A wall of stainless steel

Ruby Tears
Blood pours out of her eyes
and she says it's joy
I wonder if it's not just a ploy
to throw me off the scent
My nostrils taste the aerosol and open flame
If that is fire in her eyes
then the tears must be gasoline
or drops of kerosene
She bawls but the pain is elsewhere hidden
shelled by the bold eagerness to shed a smile
She used to be an enemy of sleep
but now she's bedridden
Vibrant yet anxious to die
She hardly ever really cries
and when she does
lava streams down her cliff-like cheeks
