Anchor Adieu
Anchor Adieu
6-17-12
Voices scream out in pain from within,
Not a single sound is heard, no end to this gloom.
The dark clouds surround and resume,
And stand ground keeping close range.
Never lose sight, avoiding any and all change.
Along for the ride, holding on until the end.
Pistols and swords aim for my throat and head.
Whispering softly and sweetly, the words ringing in my ears.
Rest your weary head now love, let your breathes subside.
Close your tired eyes now dear, time now to die.
Soothe my beckoning urge, the craving of a cure.
This life I have led, torments like a curse.
Far too long Endured ever since my birth.
Temptation tangles my mind, I’m completely caught up.
Let it all go, the final moment now struck.
In an instance the darkness closes in, all becomes a blur.
Fade away into the horizon, fall into the azure.
