Teresa's Alaska
I found love in a most unlikely place,
Never would have thought,
that I would have fallen under your spell so soon.
As soon as you came into my sight,
with no mercey,
You took my breath away.
Absorbed me.
Took over my soul , and watched me fall.
You walked away with my heart,
Took off into the mountains,
Floated away in the rivers.
Then you hid it, frozen in the glaciers,
Out of my reach.
I'm in your care.
You speak to me.
Leaving my emotions raw,
Untouchable.
For you,
Maybe just another person lost in your spell,
But for me, spell bound and lost.
My heart in your hands.
I chased you from Fairbanks to Homer.
And everywhere in between.
I watched the mountain tops,
For what ever hint you may have for me.
Still my heart is in your embrace.
