invisible

alone in a full room
black and white
no sound.
things being rushed.
am i really standing?
or am i on the ground?
looking around
feeling like the see through glass
the tiny doll
that no one sees
screaming out nonsense
hoping that i too
will be visible please.
invisible blending into the wall
watching everyone laugh
and smile.
they feel it all.
like soft sand against your feet.
invisible and non existing like
the moaning ghost
like the monster growling under the bed
like the fairy who follows you to your grave.
invisible wanting to be seen.
no heard
no both.
not wanting to be over looked
or looked passed.
feeling as though
i am that very looking glass.
look right through me
see almost nothing visible.
reach out to feel the absence of the girl
who once was something.
invisible to the eyes
invisible to the touch.
wanting so much more
receiving far much less.
invisible like the glint only seen in the sun
except this time this glint
this glimmer
is nothing but an invisible shimmer.
staring out and through
nothing makes sense of me or you.
alone in a room
full of people.
black and white
inaudible
invisible to all around.
screaming out nonsense
no one hears a sound.
invisible to the eyes
invisible to the touch
blending into the walls
thinking to much.
a grasp of nothing
a sound of yours
am i truly invisible
or just not there?
