Love Lockdown
One thing that really bugs me is to see a beautiful woman down
Lost all her trust and faith in man because of one ungrateful clown
Always talking about relations instead strengthening the relationship
The only thing he cared about was for what was between her hips
She grew tired of the lies, deceit, and mistrust from the past
It seemed that dudes only wanted her for the ass
So she built a wall of security and placed around her heart
Not allowing any guy come through to have a chance of ripping it apart
All those who tried ended with the same fate
Their spirits down because they didn’t get the date
They told me how she gave them the cold shoulder
And every time it got colder and colder
But I went on and decided to give it a try
If anyone can do it then I’m that guy
Really didn’t care if I got rejected
At least I won’t be able to regret it
She did the same to me as she did to all the others
But unlike them I refused to run home to mother
I kept trying, hoping to get inside her head
Had to look in her eyes, the portal where so many tears were shed
After swimming through the tears
That was held in through the years
I found a pool of emotions that she kept hidden from peers
All it took was for her to understand
That lies and deceit don’t come with everyman
After a lil more talking I began to realize
That she was now looking at me with her real eyes
So bold, so beautiful, so curious
But she wouldn’t let me get all of her trust
She really didn’t know if I was playing a game
Was I something real or was I just the same
As the people who came to her and left emotional scars
That left her praying and wishing on stars
I told her I could be the one who can catch you when you fall
And other things that put a hole in her heart’s wall
She was in a state of emergency all defenses armed
It was to late, I set off all the alarms and kidnapped her heart
Lost all her trust and faith in man because of one ungrateful clown
Always talking about relations instead strengthening the relationship
The only thing he cared about was for what was between her hips
She grew tired of the lies, deceit, and mistrust from the past
It seemed that dudes only wanted her for the ass
