the end is it?
has some one ever told you
that they loved you
and then left you on the side of the rode
describing your pain
you wish you could do but yet no one will listen
enough to even care
despite. . .
the things that you hate in life
what did you ever do to stop that
did you try anything
i know i didnt
cause they also told me i was worthless and not loved
when people were around he said he loved me
but when we were alone he told me he hated me
and he left me on the side of the rode
lost. . .
it seems that this is the end

A very pessimistic poem on lost love leaving the reader feeling "lost" just like the persona. Full of emotion throughout, which helps the tone of the poem come through beautifully.
