Labyrinth of Minos

A misty maze littered with lifeless corpses
Slient stone walls surrounding any who enter
Shrieking winds whistle through the night
Skin turns white from such a sight
A place of myth and terrible legend
Filled with complex, concrete corridors
None dare enter this devil's den
Where flesh is food for what dwells within

Lurking darkness in the moon lit air
Such an atrocious animal roams this lair
Not man nor woman, but twice the size
The monster's gaze leave the soul paralyzed
Matted, brown fur infested with vile fleas
Eyes of flawless ruby with evil ebony pupils
Arms wider than the limbs of oak trees
Razor tipped teeth, slick with blood and saliva

One cannot run or hide from the evil inside
Shrill screams echo within wicked walls
Quickly and heavily each footstep falls
Rumbling roars rattle the bones of all
Thick blood trickles across its granite ground
Look within if you please, but fear what will be found
Ripping flesh from bone, it knows no other way
Inside this tomb, the Minotaur will stay
