Wagen War

Each morning, waken up,
I prepared myself like a soilder
going out to war. I may not have no
battle scars breaking my skin, but war
wagen deep with in.
Every step I took toward the light,
darkness kept closing in. But I took what
the enemy was throwing at me, holding
back the fear, not letting go of the pain
I keeped locked away.
'Til one day I heard  voice say, Take my hand
You don't have to fight this war alone. No need
to take in the hurt; just let it go your not a victim
no more.
Now those walls I built come tumbling down,
I take a stand as the war blazes on. I cry out,
I'm here to stay! That voice you tried to lock away
is the sound saving me from deaths embrace.
Those of you who cant the beat of this world, wanting
to make a change, come take my hand, I'll be your
light and we'll fight this war together. Let no one
bring you down. Rise up and say I've won the war,
I aint the victim anymore.
Let the world know I can do this on my own.
I wont be controlled, because I'm not the victim anymore.
